In the illustrations, near each scientist is a picture of something that represents his or her accomplishment (s). In the back of the book is more in-depth information about each scientist. With summer still upon us, My Book Eyes couldn’t resist reading this rhyming picture book.  At dusk, a dad returns home from the beach with his four children who vary in ages. Mom beckons them with a wave as they approach the porch. Many spotlights are on one sibling’s recollections although all family members and their pet dog are depicted as they engage in their nightly routines that end in bedtime.  Words are carefully chosen and are enjoyable to read. Illustrations show loving and active folks with different skin tones, hair color and textures which are often seen amongst relatives.
